Books that help faith take root in everyday life
These books were written for parents, grandparents, mentors, homeschool families, and faith-oriented readers who want meaningful ways to talk about God and live out faith at home. Each book invites readers to slow down, pay attention, and see how God works through ordinary people, everyday choices, and small acts of grace.
Rodica’s Red Scarf
Rodica’s Red Scarf is a children’s picture book and read-aloud story about kindness, sharing, gratitude, family, and faith. It is a meaningful choice for families looking for Christmas books for children, Valentine’s Day books for kids, or a keepsake gift that encourages empathy, character, and caring for others. This story is especially helpful for families, classrooms, homeschool groups, and mentors who want books that open the door to deeper conversations. Its message is timeless, and many families have made it a tradition to read during special holidays.
Why I wrote it
I adopted my son from Romania in 1991 and later cared for a village there for nine years. The way the people lived in the village is true. The scarf’s story is fiction. I wrote Rodica’s Red Scarf to preserve a piece of Romanian history for Romanian children who were adopted and made their way to other countries. My hope is that this one simple story will awaken kindness, gratitude, and faith in readers of every age.

A devotional for everyday faith conversations
Natural Devotions gives parents, grandparents, and mentors simple ways to make faith present, natural, and real in daily routines, questions, challenges, and triumphs. Through themes like gratitude, kindness, service, and grace, this book helps adults teach children and teens that faith is more than something we read about. It is something we are called to live every day. Natural Devotions helps families weave God into their everyday lives.
Why I wrote it
God led me to publish this book to help adults talk about Him with confidence to their children, not as a separate subject, but as part of everyday life. God is here among us. He never left. Open this devotional and discover how to create faith habits in your home that your children can carry with them and one day pass on to their own children.

The thread that connects both books
God meets us in ordinary moments, with ordinary people, and plants seeds that take root in our hearts. One book tells a story that shows faith, kindness, and gratitude in action. The other helps families talk about faith in everyday life. Together, they invite readers to see that God is not far away. He is present in the choices we make, the people we notice, and the love we are willing to give.
